Join VCUarts Director of Percussion, Justin Alexander, and his students to a calming activity that in which you add your own percussive beats. No instruments are required. Be playful as you explore the different sounds that you can create using only your hands, body, and chair. The point is to listen to the sounds of the group and find your place in the rhythm. This is an activity that you can do along with the video or as part of practice in using body percussion as a way to reconnect with the moment and join mind and body.
