Session One: Drawing Activity

Play the Session One drawing activity video, called Looking Into

“Looking Into”
Courtnie Wolfgang

This is a drawing method that could be described as “looking into”. Instead of starting with a blank paper on which you make a mark, start with a paper that’s been stained or marked already, and look into those shapes to create something new.

Courtnie will cover the supplies that you can use for this activity in this short video describing the activity. But she has also provided these starter pages, if you do not have any liquids available to make the shape patterns on paper. If that is the case it may be helpful to download this page or this page to continue onto the “looking into” portion of the activity.

If you would like to keep track of time during this activity, please click the bar below when you begin. At the end of 20 minutes, you will hear a set of chimes to indicate time is up. You can reset the timer for another 20 minutes by clicking RESET at the top right.

If you want to share an image of your “Looking Into” art, please submit a photo here by clicking on participate.

Or move on to the wrap up video and concluding breathing exercise of the session by clicking on continue.
